Wildstar|ShadowClan|Leader|Female « Thread Started on Apr 26, 2008, 10:12pm »
Name:
Wildstar Age: 32 moons Religion: StarClan (Has all her life) Mate: N/A Kits: N/A Gender: She-cat Clan: ShadowClan Rank: Leader Breed: Tabby Appearance: [blockquote]Wildstar is a medium sized cat, though she leans more toward large. Although most ShadowClan cats appear sinister and evil looking, Wildstar resembles Dawnstar's regal and beautiful look. She is a brown tabby with beige markings on her forehead, bordering a flash of white down her muzzle. Her pelt resembles that of a tortoiseshell, with multi-colours on it and every shade of brown with a mixture of black. She blends in perfectly in the pine forest where she lives. Her paws are white with some streaks of beige here and there.
Her eyes are the deepest most emerald green of any cat around. They shimmer and sparkle when she is amused and glint dangerously when she is angry.
Wildstar's claws and teeth are thorn sharp and always battle-ready. Her medium, lithe body make her well suited to battle and helps her dodge attacks and aim a few of her own.
Personality:
Wildstar is a calm and decisive leader of ShadowClan. She always tries to do what's right and if a cat wants to offer an opinion, she never turns him/her down. Wildstar strives to always put her Clan first even if that means putting her life in danger. She never has and never will dream of breaking the warrior code on account of her happiness. She remembers her debt to RiverClan this day and so never lays a claw on them if she can help it.
Wildstar absolutely hates fighting and tries never to start a war or battle unless a Clan has vandalized against her Clan. She follows the will of StarClan completely.
Wildstar does have a few weak points though. At times, she can get impatient, usually on apprentices and stubborn young warriors. She can get snappy often especially if another Clan starts something with hers. She is unusually small for her age giving her a slight disadvantage in battle.
History:
Kithood: I wish I was a Warrior
Ever since Wildkit was able to speak, she would never stop complaining about how kits weren't allowed to do anything. Her mother's name had been Swiftfoot, but she had died shortly after Wildkit's birth in a skirmish with RiverClan. Her father had been Braveheart, currently the deputy of ShadowClan.
When Wildkit found out about her mother, she felt no grief, only a desire to avenge her mother. Most thought ShadowClan was vicious and ruthless, but Wildkit believed that they were simply very protective of their territory and Clanmates. Wildkit loved her Clan and was angry at her mother's death.
As she grew older, she formed bonds of friendship with the other kits, some of whose parent's had also passed away. She agreed with them that someday, they would earn their revenge as full-fledged warriors.
Late Kithood: I have Learned Forgiveness
During her last couple moons as a kit, RiverClan began to have problems with ThunderClan. ThunderClan kept arguing with them over a piece of their territory and ThunderClan and RiverClan were forced to fight it out. ThunderClan won and RiverClan was forced to retreat somewhat farther back in their territory and closer to ShadowClan's border.
One memorable day, Wildkit got bored of the queens constant lecturing on how to behave and left camp in search of adventure. Unfortunately, she walked right into a trap that some twoleg hunters had set out to catch fox once again and she fell unconscious after wailing for some time with no answers.
Wildkit probably would have died if not for a kindly RiverClan warrior who helped her back to camp. Wildkit's foster queen told her later on that she would have died from blood loss if not for the warrior of their neighboring Clan. Wildkit knew that she was in their debt from then on and abandoned her wishes of fighting them along with a few of her supporting friends.
Apprenticehood: Why do I have to Clean the Ticks?
Finally, after some preparing by their leader and much excitement from Wildkit, she was made Wildpaw and apprenticed to Luckyheart. Her first task?
Cleaning the elder's den.
From the moment Wildpaw picked up that wad of moss with mousebile and cleaned away the ticks from the elder's, she declared it a mouse-brained job. She believed it shouldn't be assigned to apprentices and spent hours at a time in the afternoon arguing her reasons with Luckyheart. Finally, she was forced to being grounded by the current leader, Hailstar. She was made to clean the elder's den all day and tend to their needs until satisfactory. When she was finally let out of her punishment, Wildpaw was a changed cat.
Late Apprenticehood: I Am Who I Am because I have made Myself so
Wildpaw knew now that her wants and needs couldn't always be met first as they had been when she had been a kit. Now, there was a huge Clan with hungry mouths to feed and their was no time for any of the warriors or apprentices to sit back and relax. To one unused to Clan life, this would seem strict and tiring, but to Wildpaw, it was soul-strengthening.
Wildpaw learned the secrets of the other Clans through battle and Gatherings and even through her mentor. She came to understand and love ShadowClan for what she thought it was and not based on other cat's opinions. She even tried to study medicine, but only made it past the basics.
By the time Wildpaw was ready to be a warrior, she had a true warrior heart and a true desire for ambition out of loyalty to ShadowClan.
Warriorhood: This is the Life
Wildpaw was finally made into a warrior one joyful day and many agreed with her warrior name for she had become a respected apprentice. Wildspirit. That seemed to fit her just fine.
Wildspirit continued her life as a warrior and took the new responsibilities as wisely as she could although her weak points often pulled her back. She worked hard to become what a warrior really was in the eyes of StarClan and attempted to keep her debt with RiverClan. ShadowClan soon began evolving from what it had once been. The cats of ShadowClan in the new generation were no longer wily and sly, but loyal and determined.
But all those happy year changed when a horrible tragedy struck ShadowClan.
Warriorhood: Some things in Life just aren't Fair
Greencough.
It came every year, but this was the worst yet. It hit the elders first, which was a cruel blow. Three of the five elders ShadowClan had died and even Wildspirit's mentor, Luckyheart.
Hailstar became afflicted with it as well and lost a life. Four of eleven kits died, and two of fourteen warriors including Luckyheart. Wildspirit luckily wasn't infected, but she did manage to catch a bit of whitecough and, to her dismay, had to stay in the medicine den for several days and abandon her duties as a warrior.
Finally, when all thought the worst had passed and Wildspirit recovered, the deputy, Shadewing caught greencough. The medicine cat worked day and night to try and heal the deputy, but it was no use. Shadewing passed away four days later and Hailstar fell into a storm of grieving and retreated into her den.
Luckily for ShadowClan, she forced herself out of her den by moonhigh and standing on the place where she normally gave announcements, she appointed Wildspirit as deputy. Despite being thoroughly surprised and honored by this, Wildspirit accepted her new position humbly and many congratulated her that night for she had earned a great reputation within ShadowClan.
Deputy years: Who would have thought I would make it this Far?
Wildspirit soon came to realize how hard the task of being deputy is. You have to organize various things through camp like patrols, duties, etc. and you have to advise the leader on top of all that. Plus you had to be patient and decisive and humble all at the same time. Wildspirit didn't find it that different to being a warrior, but it felt strange to be able to tell a senior warrior what to do.
Hailstar unfortunately didn't live long after Shadwing's death. She passed away out of old age two moons later and left Wildspirit to the almost impossible prospect of being leader of ShadowClan.
Leader years: Can I do this?
Wildspirit visited the moonpool the night after Hailstar's burial ceremony. Hailstar granted her her fourth life while her parents and mentor granted her first three. Wildspirit became Wildstar that night and she returned to ShadowClan refreshed and ready for her next journey.
The moment Wildstar became leader of ShadowClan, a new era began for the once hostile and mysterious Clan. It was as if it was meant to happen; that Wildstar had become leader for this very purpose.
Wildstar had no intention of continuing ShadowClan's stubborn and evil reputation, but tried to bring the Clan back to the seasons that Dawnstar was leader. She worked hard to overcome her weaknesses and make ShadowClan great but at the same time keep them with the reputation of being a good Clan that followed the laws of StarClan.
After two moons, she felt she was used to her job enough and left her unsure leader years and moved on to the last stage: Final leader years:
Final leader years: Oh, StarClan, Guide my Paws
Wildstar, being accustomed to being leader, followed a routine. She would get up in the morning, check with her deputy about happenings in the Clan then eat. After that, she would see if she could patrol. If not, she would train with an apprentice if she had one, then go out on the sunhigh patrol.
As long as Wildstar is leader though, ShadowClan will never fall to ambition and catastrophe. It will always be a Clan of importance, loyalty and determination to do what is right. Though it never will lose it's touch of mysteriousness....
Roleplay Example:
The grass near the swamp rustled at a slight disturbance and Wildstar stepped out of the swath of reeds and crouched by the water's edge to gaze into the marsh. A few birds called overhead, but Wildstar was intent on watching the wet, swamp grounds up ahead.
The ShadowClan leader would often leave camp just to be by herself, and think for a little while. Sometimes, she would feel to crowded in at camp and felt she needed some air. Her deputy of course, understood that Wildstar needed some space.
A sudden shaking of a weed in the bog aroused her attention, and Wildstar dropped into a low crouch and stalked forward, expecting a mouse.
A splash caught her off guard and water was sprayed onto Wildstar's face and muzzle and splattered her sleek, tabby pelt. She shook herself crossly and sent diamond drops everywhere. She looked up just in time to see a glinting, silver fish swimming away underwater, safe for the time being.
Not for long, thought Wildstar cunningly. She plodded from the small, boggy island and padded stealthily through the water, ignoring the pull of swamp reeds and growth. Her mind was fixed on a single thing: Prey.
After a moment and pawing around, searching for a place where she wouldn't make much noise while stalking, Wildstar found a suitable rock to crouch on and hopped out of the water to sit on it, dignified.
A flash in the water caught her gaze and Wildstar lashed out her paw in a swift, fluid movement. She may not be RiverClan, but the fish in the swamp were stupid. They pretty much swam into your paws and this one was no exception. Wildstar's paw came up with the fish hooked on the other end. She licked her lips in satisfaction and leapt back to shore, intending to end her hunt with a meal.

Reasons:
I think Wildstar deserves this position mainly because I don't think ShadowClan should always be the evil and wrong Clan. I think she was destined for this role to bring ShadowClan to a good, new era. I really think she should be leader because of this and because, as it states in her history, she has had a long, hard past which has built her up into a leader that ShadowClan needs.
(Also on a side note, if I can't get ShadowClan, I'll edit this to be RiverClan instead.)
A good overall bio, just make sure, like any bio, you run it through microsoft word's spell check to weed out spelling and grammer issuses, allowing for a faster correction and earlier acception.
One note, ThunderClan does not border ShadowClan in this roleplay. A very minor issue.
Also, ShadowClan is merely meant to be rather secretive, not evil here. I like that fact that you kept this in mind and made a leader who cares for her Clan and is like any other leader instead of the evil ShadowClan leader that many people like to make.
Oh, yeah I realized that just after. I'll change the Clan then. And I'll make sure to do that on Microsoft Word, §unset. Overall, does this mean it's accepted other than that?
Yes. I think that this is a very good bio, and was well thought-out.
A small typo check and it will be all set, but I do like to leave high position bios up for a day or so to give others the chance of trying for the position.
Appearance: "Her pelt resembles that of a tortoiseshell, with multi-colous on it and every shade of brown with a mixture of black." should be colors
Personality: "She reClanmates her debt to RiverClan this day and so never lays a claw on them if she can help it." ...erm...
History: Late Kithood: "During her last couple moons as a kit, RiverClan began to have problems with ThunderClan." Should be a semicolon.
"Wildkit's foster queen told her later on that she would have died from blood loss if not for the warrior of their neighbouring Clan." Should be neighboring"
Apprenticehood/Late Apprenticehood:(Should be Apprenticeship)
Warriorhood #2: "Despite being thoroughly surprised and honoured by this, Wildspirit accepted her new position humbly and many congratulated her that night for she had earned a great reputation within ShadowClan." Should be honored.
A couple of minor capitalization issues, but I'll let those go.
Sorry. The reClanmate comes from a site where 'remember' has been replaced. Member is now seen as Clanmate so remember is seen as reClanmate. I forgot to change it.
The others I have no excuse for though.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and in Canada, we spell color 'colour' so that may seem wrong for someone else. Other than that, the rest are typos.
